About Me

I am a mechanical engineer, systems-oriented thinker, and former professional and collegiate athlete motivated by designing technologies that strengthen critical systems and support the United States’ defense and national security mission.

My B.S. in Mechanical Engineering gave me the ability to take complex systems from initial concepts through CAD, prototyping, fabrication, integration, testing, and iteration, which strengthened my intuition for manufacturability, reliability, and user-centered design.

My M.S. in Management Science and Engineering expanded that technical foundation by helping me understand how engineering decisions connect to organizational structure, capital allocation, stakeholder incentives, risk, and business strategy. This systems-level perspective led me to present recommendations on nuclear-energy deployment barriers to the U.S. National Security Council at the White House.

Athletics has been equally important in shaping how I work. As a Stanford Division I water polo class captain and All-American, I learned to lead, communicate, and perform under pressure while balancing demanding academics with more than 30+ hours of weekly training. I later competed professionally in Italy’s top division and helped win the inaugural European Aquatics Conference Cup, reinforcing the value of discipline, resilience, teamwork, and persistence.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping and skiing, as well as working on hands-on projects around the house where I can build, repair, and improve things myself. I also enjoy cooking, especially experimenting with new recipes and techniques, and I’m a lifelong Star Wars fan who can happily talk about the films, lore, and universe for hours.
